Memento stands on the shoulders of giants.

This is an Open Source passion project whose originating source has passed through many hands. Without our predecessors, Memento would have never been born.

  • Thank you, Djeryv, for beginning your work on Dawn of Ultima way back in 2012, sticking with it for so many years, and choosing to open source it for the benefit of others.
  • Thank you, Mangar, for working with Djeryv on Ruins & Riches (R&R), which ultimately paved the way for monster races!
  • Thank you, Xork, for Adventures of Akalabeth (AoA), your blog, your Player Guide, and your (immensely understated) code de-duping efforts.

A majority of the development we do for Memento is driven by talking and engaging with the wonderful community that play and engage with the Online (hosted) server.
